Adele Wechsler Eco Couture

Since early childhood, Adele has had an out-sized interest in fashion. Adele grew up in South Africa and, knowing she wanted to become involved in the fashion industry, attended the Natal Technikon School, which had the best design program in the country. After graduation, she moved to Toronto to be with her future husband and to make her mark on the fashion industry in North America.

Over the years, Adele's work has evolved from couture fashion to couture bridal. Adele combines many elements including sheer fabrics and organic elements to compliment the feeling of a destination wedding. Adele's revolutionary Eco Couture line combines the classic elegance of traditional wedding gowns with the new return of old construction by using natural and organic materials. Much as the gowns of renaissance aristocrats were hand constructed using fine organic silks colored with vegetable dyes. The gowns are crafted to leave an impact on those celebrating and not on the planet.
